IELTS Speaking: Vocabulary and Phrases

Words for OKAY: 
Use some different words to show that you are agreed to a particular situation. 
~Yeah
~Yep
~Yes
~Sounds good to me
~Sure thing
~Why not

Words for "How Are You": 
You may not use this while speaking a cue card, however, you can ask this question in the form of passive voice and past tense. 
~How's it going?
~What's up?
~How are things?
~How's everything?
~What's going on?
~How are you doing?
~How have you been?

•Words for "I'm fine":
~I'm good, thanks!
~I'm well, thanks!
~I'm well, thanks for asking!
~Can't complain
~I'm pretty good
~I'm doing well
~I'm doing phenomenal
~Not bad
~Couldn't be better
~Never been better

•Words for "I'm busy":
~I'm swamped
~I'm tied up
~I have bigger fish to fry 
~I'm upto my neck
~My hands are full 

Words for " I like":
~I'm into...
~I'm keen on...
~I fancy...
~I enjoy...
~I'm fond of... 
~Im passionate about...

Words for "I don't like" :
~It's not my thing
~I'm not crazy about it
~I'm not a big fan
~It's not for me
~Not my cup of tea!
~I'm not into it!

• Words for "VERY" : 
Students generally use very before showing any expression! Here are some words you should note down inspite of saying 'very'.
Very tired: exhausted
Very sad: heartbroken, devastated
Very happy: thrilled, on cloud nine , jubilant
Very mean: Cruel
Very boring: dull
Very slow: sluggish
Very careful: cautious
Very colourful: vibrant
Very creative: innovative
Very crowded: busting
Very cute: adorable
Very hungry: starving
Very friendly: amiable
Very weak: feeble 

Words for "I think":

~I suppose...
~I consider...
~I assume that...
~I presume that...
~In my opinion,...
~Personally,....
~As far as I can tell,...
~As far as I am concerned,...
~I would say...
~If you as me,....

Words for "for example":
~For instance,
~Such as,
~Namely
~To illustrate,
~In a similar case
~Let's say
~Imagine
~Suppose that...
~In particular
~As a case in point, 

Words for "important": 
Be honest, you usually use the above mentioned words after every two sentences? 
Don't worry, write down the following  synonyms:    ;)
~Vital
~Paramount
~Salient
~Crucial
~Foremost
~Fundamental
~Significant
~Essential

Words for "I don't understand":
~Sorry, I missed that
~Sorry, I didn't catch that
~What do you mean by that?
~I'm not sure what you mean
~I don't follow
~Could you run that by me one more time?

Words for "Me too":
~Likewise
~So do I
~Ditto
~Same
